What is College in the Schools?
College in the Schools (CITS) is a concurrent enrollment program through the University of Minnesota Duluth that offers college courses to students still enrolled in high school. Students take the UMD courses through their participating high school.
Student Benefits
By participating in CITS, students can receive college course credit equivalencies for their coursework and jump start their college career, all while learning to transition to college life and challenge their academic goals. CITS courses are FREE to students.

NACEP Accreditation
UMD's CITS program is NACEP Accredited. NACEP ensures that all CITS courses are the same quality and rigor whether they are offered on campus or at the participating high school. This ensures that students are held to the same standards of achievement as students on campus. Additionally, it ensures that all instructors meet the same academic requirement as on campus instructors.
