What does the Advisory Board do?
The UMD Advisory Board encourages members among: secondary and postsecondary faculty/staff, school administration, CITS teachers, CITS students, high school counselors, parents, and community members. Serving on the UMD CITS Advisory Board would provide you with the opportunity to share information about the UMD CITS program in your school, hear updates surrounding UMD policy and procedures, and vote on new policies and initiatives. The Advisory Board will meet twice per year, and the meetings are coordinated by the UMD CITS Program Coordinator. Are you interested in joining the advisory board? Board terms last for three years, with the exception of student terms which run for one year (January of a student's Junior year through December of their senior year).
